So, in brainstorming a comic, Tal popped open the Mists of Pandaria beta and called me over. "There's nothing funny going on," he said. "Other than the wall-to-wall writhing sea of panda bears, there is nothing humorous happening here." He was clearly looking at a different screen, because to my eye, the leg of some hunter's t-rex (which, for you non-WoW players, would normally be scaled down to a manageable size) was dominating a quarter of the screen and crushing at least fifteen pandas to death.

This is likely how the species ended up endangered.
