I feel awkward saying this in light of the events today, but here it is:

In other news, a man decided he had enough and flew his plane into the IRS building in Austin, TX, after setting fire to his home with his wife and daughter still in it.

Google it. When you find all the information, make your own decision on that.

Here is my thing:

If you want to kill yourself, fine. Do it. The world is better off.

If you try to take people out with you, you are a dick. A jerk. A monumental ass. Also? Premeditated Murderer.

If I drive my car off of the road and pile into a tree at 70 miles an hour, killing myself as I am thrown from the car and sliced in half by a barbed-wire fence… I am an idiot, but I am only an idiot that one time.

However, if I drive my car through a populated bistro and into a mall, killing 395 people in the subsequent fire, explosions, panic, trampling, and smeared over the hood of my car… then I am a murderous asshole and should be treated as such.

Look. Paranoid conspiracy theory aside, disgruntled anger and resentment aside, taking your anger out against the “establishment” or “the Man” is retarded. You end up killing the people who have nothing to do with the Establishment or the Man, except to draw a needed paycheck (and probably a crappy one at that.)

Want to make a statement? Go crash a plane into a terrorist cave, and say it is because all the problems in the US are their fault. At least then, we are even with them, and you do some good in the world.

My heart and thoughts go to those affected by this tragedy, and I hope the next bomber/plane crasher/clocktower sniper goes and gets himself killed in his own home long before he takes anyone else out.

Also? I am angry this may further delay my tax refund.
